Though sports are a way of entertainment for people there is a difference between entertainment sports and competitive sports.

Competitive sports: the main aim or goal of these sports is the achievement of victory. In such games or sports, the competition is either between two parties or more than two parties, but the main goal is that of winning. The winning of party results in the loss of another party participating in the sport.

Entertainment sports: these sports though are kind of competitive in nature but are solely made for the entertainment of the audience or the spectators like the WWE sporting event. This event is an entertainment programme for professional wrestlers.
