Composting is a method of recycling organic wastes like vegetables and fruit peelings, weeds, grass, leaves and animal dung. Compost can be used as a manure

Whereas landfilling involves placing wastes underground and combine it with soil. The waste is dumped and packed in with the use of bulldozers. Landfilling at a large scale can lead to environmental contamination.
