Hy,
Congenital diseases are those which are transferred from mother to child while child is in uterus or while delivery.
Example- congenital syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis can be congenital too.
Acquired diseases are those which person acquires in his/her life. It can be due to contaminated food and water, due to microbes, due to faeces, air droplets, anything.
Example- Typhoid, diarrhoea, chicken pox.
