-The contract between employee-employer is known as a contract of service .
-The contract between a contractor-client contract is known as a contract for services.
Key differences between contract of service and contract for service:
1. In contract of service employee serves the employer by doing business for him whereas in contract for service contractor carries out business on their own account.
2. Contract of service is covered by the employment act where the contract for service is NOT covered by the employment act.
3. Contract of service includes all major and minor details i.e. working hours, salary, leave benefits etc. whereas contract for service has no statutory benefits that apply.
