Difference between converging tectonic plates and Diverging tectonic plates

Converging tectonic plates are plates which are moving towards it other and diverging tectonic plates which are moving away form each other.Converging plates a destructive because they are moving towards each other and diverging plates are not destructive because a new plate is created when they move away form each other.
