The differences between current coil and pressure coil in wattmeter, are as follows -
- First of all, current coil of a wattmeter is connected in series with the load whereas the pressure coil of a wattmeter is connected in parallel with the load. So, the type of connection with the load is completely different for these two types of coils.
- Secondly, the pressure coil measures the voltage but the current coil measures the current.
- Inspite of having so much fundamental differences both of them are extremely important parts of a wattmeter.
