Answer:

deciduous teeth commonly called as milk teeth . they are present in infants . as they grow they fall off to form a new set of teeth called the permanent teeth .milk teeth is called deciduous because they are compared to those deciduous trees who shed their leaves during a particular season and regrow them again . however when a permanent tooth falls ( mostly due to accidents or any other kind ) they do not regrow as in deciduous . milk teeth are a little weak in connection with the roots of teeth unlike permanent !

in humans milk teeth count is 20 , whereas permanent teeth count is 32 , cos premolars and molars and a vestigeal pair of teeth called wisdom teeth ( another molar ) develops after some time !

hope the answer is suffecient !
