Weight is say how many pounds something weighs, if you divide this by volume, you get what’s called density. It also means that for the same metal, is stays the same, almost exactly. This is because the amount of Protons and Neutrons don’t change. I said almost exactly, because you always have those Electrons around the Protons and Neutrons, and because they do have a mass, and they can jump to other materials and such, the mass changes too. This actually is so little, that you can never notice it.
