displacement is the shortest path covered by the object from initial point to final point .....nd displacement is actual path length covered by any object....
distance cm never be 0 ....
displacement con be 0.....
distance will be equal to displacement if the object is travelling on the straight path......

May be ur question is difference between distance and displacement.
The differences are..
Distance is the total path covered by an object.
Displacement is the shortest distance between the starting and the final position.
Distance is scalar but displacement is vector.
