Disaster Recovery/Management is service pointing all technical calculations for controlling possible disaster which shall hit business information system and could be developed from different causes i.e. natural disasters, human errors, thefts/hacking.  

Disaster Recovery plan lays down critical processes for the company naming which must be better protected and monitored.  

It explains RTO and RPO parameters according to needs of every company and plans actions to take for  complete and fast restore of systems, data and applications in case of accidents.

Business Continuity relates to global solution which includes all procedures and processes that have purpose of ensuring business operation continuity and avoid interruption of activities either they are caused by IT down times as instance legal accidents/failures due to lack of staff.  

Business Continuity plan demarcates procedures to be followed:

- Strategic level by finding processes for timely and effective management of possible critical events in future that could threaten company’s survival

- Tactical level to coordinate actions and referents involved in these activities with target of confirming operational continuity

- Operative level by specifying all passages to be followed in case of any urgency.
