Displacement refers to the shortest distance between the point where we had started and the point where we had stopped or finished moving.
Distance on the other hand refers to the pathways wherever we had gone covering the area including the finished point.
For example:-
A is a point from where we started walking and we walked in a circular motion covering the semi circle, finishing at point B. Then the physical distance walked between A and B is distance. And the semi circle distance, that is the shortest distance between A and B is displacement.

here is your answer
________________________________
Distance
1) It is used to covered actual length of an object known as distance
2) It is a scalar quantity
3) it is travelled by the object in
straight direction
4) It is measured in m and km

Displacement
1) The shortest distance between the initial and final position of the body during time interval known as displacement
2) it is travelled by an object in specify direction
3) It is a vector quantity
4) It is also measured in m/sec , km/sec
