Difference between drying agent and dehydrating agent.

DRYING AGENT

Θ Drying agent absorbs the contents of water from the body

Θ It only brings about a physical change

Θ The change is reversible


DEHYDRATING AGENT

Θ Dehydrating agent removes hydrogen and oxygen in ratio 2:1 from the body

Θ It brings about a chemical change

Θ The change may be reversible or irreversible
