I think you have asked difference between economic growth and economic development.

Economic growth is measured by per capital income of a country whereas economic development is measured through improvement in literacy rate , decrease in infant mortality rate , increased life expectancy etc.

Economic growth doesn't show actual development of the country whereas economic development shows the latter.
