So, what is a integer ?

All counting numbers their negatives along with 0 are called integers.

(i) 6 , 18.

18 - 6 = 12.

(ii) -3 , 6 .

= 6 - (-3)

= 6 + 3

=9.

(iii) -27 , -54.

= -54 - (-27).

=-54+27.

=-27.

(iv) 12, 7 .

-7 - 12.

=-19.

6-18=-12

-3-6=-9

-27-(-54)=-27+54=27
