electric charge is the smallest unit of current as electrons are the smallest unit of atom.
electric charge are the constitutes of electric current
electric current is the flow of electric charge per unit time
I=Q/T
flow of electrons cause electric charge and flow of electric charge causes electric current

rate of flow of charge is electric current.

when electrons are in rest its considers as charge...but flow of electron wrt time because of difference in electric potential is considered as electric current.
