Difference between embryo sac and embryo

Embryo sac is present in the female reproductive part of a plant or the ovule.

When pollen grains from male part of a flower reach the ovule, fusion of one sperm with one egg occurs.

After fertilization, zygote or fertilized egg is formed.

This zygote then develops into an embryo which slowly grows with nutrients from nucleus.
