difference between emotions and feelings​

While emotions and feelings are quite different, we all use the words interchangeably to more or less explain the same thing – how something or someone makes us feel.

Emotions are event driven, while feelings are learned behaviours that are usually in hibernation until triggered by an external event. For Example - Unlike happiness (a feeling) , joy (an emotion)involves little cognitive awareness - we feel good without consciously deciding to - and it's longer lasting.....
