difference between estern flowing rivers and western flowing rivers of India

Eastern following rivers are -  Ganga, Yamuna, Godawari, Krishana, Cauvery, Mahanadi etc

Western following rivers are-Narmada , Tapi, Periyar,

East following rivers are generally large and carry large amount of water , discharge at bay of Bengal form deltas  at their mouth

West following rivers are generally small , except Narmada and tapi , does not form deltas at their mouth. discharge their water at Arabian Sea.
