Prokaryotes are organisms that consist of a single prokaryotic cell. Eukaryotic cells are found in plants, animals, fungi, and protists. They range from 10–100 μm in diameter, and their DNA is contained within a membrane-bound nucleus. Eukaryotes are organisms containing eukaryotic cells.

Eukaryotes : The organisms whose cells have a well defined nucleus which is membrane-bound and various organelles, chromosomes etc.

They are more complex and much more larger than the prokaryotes.

They reproduce by either of the modes of reproduction ( ie. Asexual or Sexual )

They may be unicellular or Multicellular organisms.

Examples : Animals, plants, fungi, protists etc.

Prokaryotes : The organisms whose cells don't have a distinct nucleus and organelles. They are mainly unicellular organisms. They are primitive organisms

They are much more smaller than the Eukaryotic cells.

They reproduce by Asexual mode of Reproduction.

Examples : Bacterial cells, Archeal cells etc.
