Difference between a eukaryotic and a prokaryotic cells is as follows:
Prokaryotic cell:
- It is found in single celled organisms.
- All the functions of the organism is carried out by a single cell.
- The process of co-transcriptional translation is possible.
- A cell does not have well-defined organelles.
Eukaryotic cell:
- It is found in multi cellular organisms.
- Each cell is well organised into tissues that perform different functions.
- The process of co-transcriptional translation is not possible.
- A cell does has well-defined organelles.
