Difference between Eurythermal and Stenothermal are given below:

  • Eurythermal organisms are those which can withstand a wide range of temperature, whereas stenothermal organisms are those that only survive in a narrow temperature range.
  • Most organisms across the planet are well adapted to their specific habitats; however, there are some which can survive fluctuations in temperature and can exist almost everywhere on Earth, e.g. man, dog, goats, etc.
  • Certain animals, on the other hand, thrive only in a specific temperature range and cannot survive all over the planet, e.g. penguins, most reptiles, polar bears, etc. The formers are known as eurythermal organisms, while the latter is known as stenothermal organisms.
