My point of view, both cluster and discriminant analysis are concerned with classification but I confused whether there is any different between them. What is the similarity and dissimilarity role of them? Can you provide me please any source of knowledge on them? It could be better help for me. Thanks.

Factor-Factor analysis (FA) uses standardized variables to reduce data sets by using principal components analysis (PCA), the most widely used data reduction technique.
Discriminant-analysis vs factor analysis, both statistical methods of data analysis, but which is best to use. Before you decide, it is imperative to understand the differences and similarities between the two.
