Federal Government:-

●Federalism is a system of government in which the power is divided between central authority and it's various constituent units of the country .

● The central govn. cannot order the state govn. to do something

● State govn. has its own power in which it is not answerable to the central govn.

● Both these govn. are separately answerable to the people .

Unitary government:-

●Under unitary govn. either there is only one level of govn. or the sub-units are the subordinates to the central govn

● The central govn. can pass an order to the provincial or local govn.
