First party insurance is basically coverage for the insured person. In this case, bike insurance coverage will take care of damages for the vehicle that is insured or in case any damage has been done to the insured and his/her vehicle by a third party, coverage will be given to the person insured.

On the other hand, buying third party bike insurance online means that you are buying coverage for any third person who may face damages/losses on your account. This includes damages to a third person’s vehicle/property and injuries/death of third persons resulting from mishaps and accidents. This is the basic difference between these insurance plans. Comprehensive Insurance covers the first party or insurance holder with full damage and liability coverage. Liability policies or third party insurance covers third party damages and loss of lives/property along with injuries and vehicle damages.
