Freshwater lakes are created of naturally occurring water on Earth’s surface in glaciers, icebergs and lakes.
It is easier for aquatic animals to survive in freshwater bodies.
Saltwater lakes contain salts which are carried into those lakes by dissolved salts from the river, water evaporates from such bodies leaving the salts forever.
