Futur Proche is used to describe an event in the short-coming future.

It can be hinted by: dans un instant, quelques minutes etc.

Passé recent, as the name of the tense suggests, it’s used to describe an action of“recent past”, meaning to tell about an event that just took place.

Futur proche is used when one wants to describe an action that will take place within few minutes.
Ex je vais manger le repas apres cinq minutes.

Passé recent is used to denote the actions that happened few minutes ago .
Ex il vient d’arriver de l’ecole depuis trois minutes.(he came from the school three minutes ago)
