   A person who guarantees is called guarantor.  Guarantee is given verbally and also in written form. Guarantee in written form is legally bound. Guarantee can be for anything useful to two parties.

   Warranty is the written promise by a company to service or replace or repair the products under some conditions during the warranty period.  Warranty implies guarantee. Warranty is usually about products sold.
