⭐Handloom sarees are soft in touch whereas powerloom saree has rougher feel.
⭐There is uneven weaving in handloom saree. In most cases you will observe thread clots on borders and pallu, indicating uneven weaving of threads. Its not a defect rather a part of charm of handwoven saree.
⭐Handloom saree often has pinmarks or holes on equal distance on top or bottom of saree or near borders. This happens because sarees are pinned to "khaat" wooden loom to maintain tension while weaving.
Handloom sarees often have extra threads left at the end of pallu. These threads are called tussels or 'gonda" in local language.
