Heterotrophic- organisms that cannot prepare their own food, obtain energy from organic molecules, already produced by autotrophs.Eg. Humans

Saprophytic-saprotrophs are the organisms having saprophytic mode of nutrition. They usually fed upon dead and decaying matter, breaking down complex materials outside the body and absorbing it. Eg. fungi, mushroom,etc.
