High school is from standard 8 to 10.
Secondary is plus one.
Senior secondary is Plus two.
In high school the basic education is given. Like in Mathematics introduces trigonometry and its applications, geometry and its theoroms, algebra etc. Also a high school student studies subjects like Social Sciences where comes History, Geography, Humanities, Economics etc. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English, Hindi and your Mother Tongue( for me Malayalam ) and IT. So a high school student has to manage like 10 subjects together whether he is interested or not. The high school education or say school education gives you all the fundamentals that you required for further movement. It's a time we are forced by our teachers and parents to do stuff. The major aim of us is to pass 10 and get a good option for plus 1 and 2. There wont be a time like in school where you will get advice on everything and will be forced to do things. School life is stress free enjoyment even we don't feel like that at that time. Once you are moved and look back you will say man those days were great. School life derives your personality.
In Higher Secondary you are going with specialisation. You end up picking up a single subject based on your interest and career choices. There no of subjects reduced to 5 ot 6 ( given second language an option ). Once you are in HS no looking back. Its your choice. You will have to work hard to make you better infront of the everyone. The competition wilk be high. The pressure will be really on you. The forcing that you got in school to do things will reduce and you start to enjoy freedom. You start to think about your career and prepare for that.
