Analogous organs : The group of organs belonging to different organisms ,which has same function but different body design and structure .eg; The wing of a bat and a bird.
Homologous organs :The group of organs belonging to different organisms, which have same structure and body design but have different functions for eg; fore limbs of mammals and those of frogs .
They are helpful in tracing evolutionary relationship as classifying a group of species which have a common ancestor and come origin or be it common function or structure helps us to know about their evolution is the backward times in fact classification of species is in fact a reflection of their evolutionary relationship.
