Difference between hot and cold deserts

Hot deserts :
@ Hot desert is a barren area of landscape where little precipitation occurs
@ The consequently living conditions are hostile for plant and animal life.
@ The lack of vegetation exposes the unprotected surface of the ground to the processes of denudation.
@ The land surface  is arid or semi-arid.

Cold Deserts :

@ Cold deserts are deserts that experience low temperatures and long winters.
@  They occur in the Arctic, the Antarctic and Greenland. 
@ The vegetation is very little 
@ polar animals usually found there
