difference between innudation canals and perennial canals​

The main difference between the two is that period of water they have in them :-

1.Innudation cannal are usually long and emerg from big rivers . They usually receive water when the source river is full spate or when there is flood.

2 .Perennial cannal are linked to barrages and dam and they have water throughout the year . These rivers are a good choice for irrigation.
