It is one of the famous analogy that a bad man is better than a better name. A name is an abstract thing which is connected to a person and it tells about the personality and thoughts of a person. Name. Whether it be good or bad reaches common people swiftly as compared to a  person with bad character or thoughts. A bad man can change and transform in a good man, but if a bad name gets popularized then it becomes very difficult to change it.

"If a man is bad means, his character and qualities are considered as bad such as the way he is earning, the way he is treating people, his usage of bad words, the way he will do anything for money and how he destroys the happiness of others.

But getting a bad name is depends upon your behavior towards others.

If a man is bad, we can change him. But once you get bad name, it does not change.  A Bad man will definitely get a bad name. But if a good man gets a bad name, it means that will not change in his lifetime."
