Integument:

 It is the covering of the ovule.

 Its cells are living.

 Sclereids are absent.

 It arises from chalazal end of ovule.

 It is a pre-fertilization structure.  

Testa:

 It is outer covering of seed.

 Its cells are dead.

 Cells are rich in sclereids.

 It is derived from outer integument of ovule after fertilization.

 It is a post -fertilization structure.
