Answer:

hii mate i guess you are in class 8 but this thing is also in class 10 given in a descriptive way ok..

Explanation:

SUBSISTENCE FARMING-----The type of farming in which the farmers grow crops for their self-sustenance only is called subsistence farming. In this type of farming, the agricultural land is very small as a result higher yield is obtained from smaller inputs.Every inch of the land is used here.Farmers here are very poor and are only limited to the use of bio-manures as a fertilising agent they don't have the capital to buy fertilisers, modern irrigation methods, pesticieds , insecticides u know.

INTENSIVE FARMING:-This is a type of farming in which the farmers grow crops mainly for selling it in market .so, they are also called cash crops or fibre crops or fodder crops depending upon their use ok.

They are again classified into 2 types--

Plantation farming and commercial farming.

Plantation farming:- Farming which occupies vast agricultural land for cultivating only one particular species.Ex-tea,coffee,sugarcane,banana etc

Commercial farming:-These are mainly for trading purpose .Ex-cotton, jute, etc.
