Indicators is a substance which changes the colour of the solution according to the chemical reactions .
INTERNAL INDICATORS :
They take part in original chemical reaction and also after completion of reaction it changes the colour of the solution which it indicates sharp melting point
EXTERNAL INDICATORS :
They never take part in original reaction but at end it also changes the colour of the solution which it indicates sharp melting point (We can say indicators that is ph paper and it's value for specific solution)
