Difference between international law or municipal law

International law is a set of generally accepted rules and regulation controlling the conduct of nation, international organization and individuals.

Municipal Law deals with relationship between the individuals and their organization with in a state. While each state has its own municipal laws, the international law is a common to all states and individual.

The subjects of the international law are solely and exclusively states while the subjects of the state laws are strictly individuals.

the judicial sources of domestic laws is the will of the state itself whereas the judicial source of international law is the common will of states.
