The difference between invertebrate and vertebrate are the following points:-

  1. vertebrata have internal skeleton but invertebrata have no internal skeleton.
  2. vertebrata have backbone but invertebrate have no backbone
  3. vertebrate have two pair of limb but invertebrate have three or more pair of limb.
  4. A tail is usually present in vertebrata but tail is absent in invertebrates.
  5. body is covered by hair in vertebrate but hair is not present in invertebrate.
  6. nerve cord is is present in is dorsally located in vertebrata but at nerve cord is ventrally located in invertebrates.
