Isentropic means no change in entropy ( ). An adiabatic process is a processwith no heat transfer ( ). We defined for reversible processes . So generally anadiabatic process is not necessarilyisentropic -- only if the process is reversible and adiabatic we can call itisentropic.

Answer:
Adiabatic process is the process wherein there's absolutely no heat loss and gain in the fluid being worked on whereas isentropic process is still an adiabatic process (there's no heat energy transfer) and is the reversible type (no entropy change).
