Kharif and Rabi are the twocropping patterns which are adopted in many Asian countries, depending upon the monsoon. ... On the other hand,Rabi crops are grown in winter, i.e. sown when monsoon ends and harvested before the advent of the summer season.

☆RABI☆

Crops that are grown in the winter are called rabi crop.These crops are grown from november to april and do not depend on monsoon rains.For example-wheat and legumes.

☆KHARIF☆

Crops that are grown in the summer are called kharif crops.these crops are grown from june to octobar and depend largely on the monsoon rains.For example-rice & maize..
