Difference between lead nitrate and barium chloride using dil h2so4

Adding sulphuric acid to barium sulphate fives white ppt barium sulphate and hcl whereas lead nitrate gives lead sulphate which is white in colour and nitric acid which on reacting with any metal does not give h2 gas
