Indian culture is studied based on two key concepts, i.e. little tradition and great tradition.
These two traditions will be interacting with each other and are totally interdependent.
These two will help to continue the culture of the country despite of great influence from modernization and westernization.
This creates a cultural consciousness in Indians.
The interaction would reflect village community and caste systems.
