Difference between magnetic field n magnetic field lines?

(1) Magnetic field is a field of force that exists around a magnetic body or current carrying conductor.Field lines are imaginary (visual) lines around the magnetic body which describes the nature of field around the magnetic body.Magnetic field is the force which can be experienced by another magnetic object near it whereas field lines are visualization of field around the magnetic body.


(2) Magnetic lines are just an imaginary graphical or visual representation of magnetic field in realthey do not exists.

(3) The no. of lines depends on the strength of magnet. There is only a specific no. of lines in considered per unit area due to a magnet
