A simple difference between magnetic and non magnetic materials is that.....
Magnetic materials show the attraction and repulsion...... when they get interacted with a magnet...while non magnetic materials do not.. magnetic materials can induce current while non magnetic can not...if we see at the atomic level......
The material may have highly magnetic atom...... but not magnetic as a whole......due to scattered domain......or due to arrangement of crystals....
