Heya mate here is your answer....

1.Manuscript is a handwritten document while an inscription is a text carved on hard surface.

2.Manuscript were written on papyrus, parchment etc while inscription were written on stones, metals and other hard surfaces.

3.Manuscript were easy to write while inscription took large amount of time and effort of a person.

4Manuscript doesn't have long lifespan if they were not preserved properly while inscription have long life span.
