Hello
Map images can be only drawn in 2-D
And can are not able to show home, parks, basic streets
But in satellite images they draw a hollogram images of the whole area and can cover your home area.
For watching your home in 3-D prefer to Google Earth app available in play store

The difference between map and satellite image is as follows-
- Maps and digital satellite images are two different things.
- Maps only provide a limited amount of information, unlike satellite photos, which depict all of the data a satellite has collected about the Earth's surface at a certain time.
- You must condense the numerous details present in a satellite image before creating thematic maps from them.
- Maps are visual depictions of particular Earth features.
- Digital representations of Earth obtained from satellites' orbiting sensor equipment are called satellite images.
- A map offers a vertical "plan" of a location, whereas an image presents a realistic view.
- A map is essentially a scaled-down representation of the terrain, typically merely of its selected elements, depending on its intended use.
- It contains verbal or symbolic descriptions. Some characteristics are only expressed by symbols (for example, you can hardly tell the actual width of a bridge, road or stream by measuring it in the map and multiplying by the scale).
