1. Maritime climate has cool winters and mild summers while extreme climate has very cold Winters and hot summers.
2. Maritime- Natural vegetation consists of temperate mixed deciduous trees.
Extreme- Natural vegetation mainly consists of grass.
3. Maritime- Precipitation is in the form of rainfall which occurs through out the year.
Extreme- Moderate rainfall in summer season.
