Difference between marketing and nonmarketting activities

Marketing Activities- Are those activities which are done for earning and living. These activities add up to the national income of the country and helps in contributing towards the increase in GDP of the country.

Non Marketing Activities- Are those activities which are done for self satisfaction, and are not related to any monitary gain. These activities do not add up to the national income or the GDP.

1) It involves the remuneration paid to anyone who performs an activity for earning money. 

2)  It gives profit. 

3)  For example : Government services.

Non—Market Activities:-

1) Production is for self-consumption.

2) It doesn't give any profit .

3) For example : Processing of primary products for production of goods and one's own self-services.
