There is a basic difference between mass and weight, because mass is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg, gm, etc. Whereas weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg. Note that mass is independent of everything but weight is different on the earth, moon, etc.

hope this helps....
if it helps then please please please mark this as brainliest....

vishal550: please give ans in points.
Sibbi: first write that actual mass and force then write their interdependence and then examples
Sibbi: and if it helps then please please please mark this as brainliest

Mass :

  • The quantity of any substance contained in a body is called mass of a body .
  • Mass of a body remains constant and don't change place to place .
  • Mass of a body is never zero.
  • Mass is scalar quantity means its have only magnitude and No direction of role.
  • Mass is measured in kg
  • Mass is measured  by a beam balance

Weight :

  • The force of attraction of a body toward the centre of earth called Weight of a body .
  • Weight of a body changes place to place
  • Weight of a body at the centre of earth is zero .
  • Weight is vector quantity means both of role magnitude and direction .
  • Weight is measured in kg or N .
  • Weight is measured by a weight machine
